Your PREDICTONS In 2008
1. Who will be Premiers in 2008 ? Sea Eagles
2. Which club will get the Wooden spoon ? Hard to say Panthers maybe ??
3. Which player will get the (RLPA) Player of the Year Award ? Brett Stewart
4. Who will win this years State Of Origin Series ? NSW 3 - 0
5. Which club will surprise a lot and make the 8, (from left-field eg Titans etc) ? Tigers
6. Which club will surprise and miss the 8 ? Storm
7. Which club will surprise and make the 4 ? Sharks
8. Which rookie will stand up this year ? Aaron Groom
9. Which player do you expect to have a big year and why ? Jamie Lyon as his form wasn't the best for hes first year back in the NRL in 07.
I expect him to run the ball more and form a good 7 / 6 combo with Orford and improve hes general attack in broken play.
10. Which player will make the most headlines ? Willie Mason
11. Which club do you expect to have a big year and why ? Sea Eagles they should be hungry for another crack at the Title after lossing the GF last year.
With Michael Monaghan, Chris Hicks, and Travis Burns all moved on to new clubs in 08 Manly have started to rebuild.
With the club signing Heath L'Estrange, David Vaealiki, Josh Perry and Co the Eagles should do well and have good depth in the forwards. Watch out for Michael Bani i'm expecting big things from him in 08.
