FATTY JOINS 1987 TEAM MATES FOR REUNION LUNCH ON MARCH 16
26/02/2007 By Manly Sea Eagles Popular captain Paul Vautin will join his triumphant 1987 premiership winning team mates for a reunion luncheon at Manly Leagues Club on Friday, March 16. The seafood luncheon tickets are selling fast at $85 which will include a free ticket for the season opener the following day at Brookvale Oval against the Canberra Raiders. Get a team together and purchase a table for 10 for $800 and receive 10 general admission tickets to the round one game. A big contingent of 1987 players will attend the luncheon together with legendary coach Bob Fulton. Paul Vautin says he can't wait to see his former team mates. "We catch up from time to time but this is a chance for a lot of us to be together and it will be a special day," Vautin said. Vautin has the honour of being the winning captain of the last grand final played at the famous Sydney Cricket Ground. "It was a special ground to play at and I know everyone who played in that grand final won't forget the experience," Vautin said. 1987 halfback and current coach Des Hasler will attend the luncheon together with 2007 skipper Matt Orford and new buy Jamie Lyon.
