OFF-contract Manly five-eighth Travis Burns says his future at the Sea Eagles should be settled by the end of the month.
The popular 22-year-old returned to Manly's squad yesterday for Friday night's clash with Parramatta at Brookvale Oval after serving a two-match suspension for a dangerous throw.
Burns was named on the bench, with the in-form Michael Monaghan picked at five-eighth.
Clint Halden dropped out of the squad after suffering a calf injury in the victory over the Raiders on Sunday.
Burns yesterday revealed there are other clubs chasing his services for 2008 and beyond.
``There are a few options out there,'' the Queenslander said.
``I've got to sit down with my manager (George Mimis) and find out what's the best path for me and make a decision which is best for my career.
``Manly have been great to me and I love the club and all the boys.
``But it's a decision I've got to make for myself.
``I'll weigh up a few options in the next couple of weeks.
``I'm not worried about it at the moment and just want to keep playing well for Manly.''
Burns said watching from the sidelines over the past two weeks had been difficult.
``It's been pretty tough watching the boys, but I couldn't do anything about it,'' he said.
``I've been training with the boys since I've been suspended and it was hard to sit on the sidelines.
``We'd won six in a row and it's just one of those things that happens in footy.''
Burns was banned for two weeks after being charged with a grade one dangerous throw during Manly's win over the Gold Coast last month.
The NRL will hold a player forum at the Crown Plaza in Coogee this morning between David Gallop, RLPA president Matt Rodwell, players and club officials.
