LIKE most times in Brett Finch's life, he actually thought he would get away with it.
Born in Maitland before moving to Canberra, then to Bondi and finally to Parramatta, it's easy to understand why Finch acted like he was lost yesterday.
Riding in on the coat-tails of Willie Mason, Finch laid low as he joined the 100-strong group for the NRL team photo of Pacific Islanders.
Sticking out like a sore thumb, Finch was asked to leave. But he wasn't convinced.
He offered his best "hey bro" impersonation before then breaking into the haka - a brave move considering he was in the company of Ruben Wiki, Tony Puletua and Sonny Bill Williams.
