NRL News
Winless Sydney City Roosters are carrying the hopes of the nations punters today in the traditional Anzac Day clash at Aussie Stadium.

A massive betting plunge by punters yesterday on the Roosters, shows there is confidence the winless side can get their 1000th win - after being stranded on 999 for oh so long.

All betting agencies have taken large amounts of money; with one punter putting up $200,000 on the Roosters and predictions a total of $1 million could be taken in total just on the Roosters alone.

While the Roosters will be desperate to get the win, the Dragons - 1 win from 4 starts will also be just as keen to notch up some points and it should be an exciting clash.

NRL News feels this might be the time the Roosters finally break through and get the win. Anderson has put the heat on them during the week and expect them to come out firing in the clash.
