Congrats to the Manly club, Des Hasler and the mighty Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles for making it into this years GF against the Melbourne Storm. The Eagles last GF appearance was back in 1997 ten years ago for which they played in three consecutive GF's being 95,96,97 and winning their last one in 1996. While the Storm have been the bench mark team all year the Eagles have stuck close to them and haven't let them out of their sights all year. The Eagles have had their fair share of knockers who didn't think the Eagles were the real deal and to have what it takes to get into this years GF well the rest is history. This years GF has all the makings of a classic. With two clubs wanting what every club wants, that is to hold up the trophy at the end of the year. Manly's been rebuilding for the last 3-4 years to get to this point and Eagle fans have been longing for this day for the last ten years. The storm being the better side in 06/07 and going down to the Broncos last year that would have hurt so bad and that's not something a team gets over too easy. And a special thanks goes out to all those people involved with the Sea Eagles who put in many, many hours every day with the running of a club. Well done.

Let the Game begin
